Amal Neerad-The Focused Film Maker On His Movies

On fridays he will be missing from the right corner of the last bench and can be seen in the front row of shenoys theatre,ernakulam.Thats was the routine of the versatile director Amal neerad.He owns a monster gait exactly different from the other cinematographers and directors.Like that of his films he speaks very little and his intensions was clear about his addictions to cinema.
Neerad was learned history for his pre degree.The choice made his parents curious but Amal was clear on his interest to join the film school where history could get him the required marks.
"I always had the desire to history.may be because in my childhood i was fond of Amarchitra katha''He said.
The days at Maharajas College, Ernakulam,was calm and peaceful. Amal's father Omanakuttan unlike his films was a professor  at the same college.But they rarely interacted.
''He never asserted any problem for me so i obeyed him not making any headaches,its cool with him in the same college," he smiled.
Neerad grow Left and political tendencies were very attractive.It made him elected as chairman of the college union.
Amal is always experimenting something new and affordable.His thought of making is celebrated as a new era in the industry which started of with much appreciated 'big b'.Amal's contribution for the 100 years of indian cinema 'anchu sundarikal' along with the participation of his known friends Anwar rasheed,Aashiq abu,Sameer thahir & Shyju khalid has a depth of commitments in the film making.
